First Officers - Minimum 3 year commitment.  Requirements: Commercial/Instrument Multi-engine Land Ratings, 2500 hours total flight time.  Jet experience, EFIS experience, B-737 type rating; minimum 3 years experience. No relocation available.

 
Operations

Flight Dispatcher - Responsible for operational control of MAI flights.  Coordinate, release and maintain safety watch on all MAI flights in accordance with FAR’s and Company Operational Specs.

Requirements:

  • Must have a dispatcher license and previous dispatch experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be computer literate, possess good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work alone and under stressful conditions is essential.
  • This position requires flexibility to work rotation shifts.

Maintenance

Maintenance Controller - Responsible for scheduling Flight Mechanics in accordance with FAR’s, company regulations, and cost control.

  • Candidate must be proficient in Windows environment.
  • Must be able to work within a 24-hour operation, possible shift work.
  • Fluent in reading and writing the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Knowledge of  FARs is a plus.

Marketing/Sales

Account Executive -

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintaining customer service orientation and ensuring compliance with company standards, to generate charter sales.
  • Determine availability of resources to initialize quotes and draft contracts to provide customer with complete cost factor analysis.
  • Maintain contact with customers to ensure all specifications of contract are fulfilled.
  • Process signed and authorized contract; prepare initial ground handling information sheet.
  • Maintain internal and external communications between departments to ensure customer commitments are consummated.
  • Perform Marketing/Sales Duty Officer schedule for a 7-day period every five weeks.

Requirements:    

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Hospitality or related field or equivalent professional experience in similar position.
  • Proficient in MS Word & MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service orientation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and international time zones a plus.
  • Motivated. Self-started

 

Marketing Manager - Responsible for promoting and marketing corporate services to corporate incentive planners and to secure corporate group travel accounts.  Interface with established customers and seek new customers to increase business.  Maintain awareness of Miami Air within the travel industry.

Essential Duties:

  • Promote Miami Air to corporate planners through trade shows, luncheons and seminars.
  • Conduct on-site sales meetings to establish or reinforce customer relationships; present corporate services offered and gather client information.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hotels; perform site inspections and presentations to promote Miami Air services.
  • Research market to determine key contacts.  Coordinate contact meetings, including travel arrangements for potential customers as necessary.
  • Miscellaneous departmental support: "cold-calling" to potential customers, draft and distribute weekly sales reports and schedules, attend internal departmental meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Four years professional experience in travel industry and/or sales.
  • PC literate with intermediate proficiency in office applications and Internet functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
 
Passenger Services

Customer Service Coordinator - Ensure the smooth operation of flights and services of Miami Air.  Relay ground handling requests and operational schedules. Update customer distribution information as necessary. Job will entail, but not limited to, all aspects of customer and station coordination, communication, supply requisition and shipping, as well as preparation of crew paperwork. Additional assignments as required. English/Spanish is a plus.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
  • One to three years’ professional experience in similar position.
  • PC literate with intermediate proficiency in office applications and industry.
  • Knowledge of international Customs regulations.
